Exciting News in 2010

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County was thrilled and honored to have Olympic Gold Medalist and Boys and Girls Club Alumni Hall of Famer Jackie Joyner-Kersee as our keynote speaker for our 20th anniversary Championship for Kids Campaign Kick-Off celebration February 17, 2010.
Jackie Joyner-Kersee is ranked one of the all-time greatest athletes in the hepathlon and long jump. Sports Illustrated for Women magazine named Jackie the Greatest Female Athlete of the 20th century. She helped bring the largest crowd we have ever had at a kick-off event and it was a huge success.
